Sports specific physical screening

 

We use the Athletic Ability Assessment devised by Kelvin Giles (http://www.movementdynamics.com) to assess your flexibility and stability and relate the results to what your training and technical needs are in your sport.    This allows us to provide training and treatment programmes tailored to improve your sports performance. Using biomechanics and our state of the art equipment to pinpoint weaknesses, we then develop a plan to take you to the next level.   We have experience of providing this service in football with Glasgow Rangers Academy players, Scottish Golf and international curlers.    The service can be adapted with injury prevention or performance in mind.  

 

Being situated at Cowglen Golf Centre allows us, in collaboration with the coaching staff, to provide a full picture of your development needs.    You come to us with a goal and we can screen your physical capabilities and come up with a plan of how to achieve this goal.   It is impossible to swing like Rory McIlroy unless you can rotate as much as Rory McIlroy!     Over the last few years we have shown it is possible to change your flexibility and strength in quite a short period of time and a golf screen is well worth the effort.    We would recommend you get a lesson from our local PGA professional Simon Payne to make sure your physical and technical goals align.
