Wrist and Hand Injury

Lindsay has a special interest in wrist and hand injuries given it is one of the most common time loss injuries in professional golf.   Risk factors for this are thought to be poor strength, poor technique and high volumes of practise.     Early intervention and accurate assessment are vital in minimising time lost through this type of injury.   Be sure to get any persistent niggly symptoms checked as soon as possible.      Initial assessment will determine whether any imaging or onward referral is required.    Physiotherapy is likely to consist of manual therapy, taping, exercises and modifications to practise/training.
